Forced Conversions to Islam: A Violation of Religious Freedom
Religious persecution continues to be a pressing issue in many parts of the world. One form of this persecution is forced conversions, often carried out under threat or coercion. Forced conversions are particularly prevalent in Muslim-majority countries where non-Muslims are subjected to discriminatory laws and practices.

To address the issue of forced conversion requires concerted action at multiple levels – local governments need to take steps towards ensuring safety and security for all citizens irrespective of religion while international bodies must work together towards establishing norms which protect religious freedoms globally .
At present there exists no international mechanism to track the incidence of forced conversions and it is imperative that an international framework be set up which allows for monitoring and reporting on such cases.
