The NBA playoffs are finally upon us, and the race for the championship is as open as ever. The regular season has seen some surprising results, with a few new teams entering the mix of contenders this year.
In the Eastern Conference, it’s hard to look past the Milwaukee Bucks. They finished with the best record in the entire league and have one of the game’s biggest stars in Giannis Antetokounmpo. But they’ll face stiff competition from last year’s champions, Toronto Raptors who will be led by Kyle Lowry and Pascal Siakam.
The Boston Celtics also come into this postseason with high hopes. They possess an outstanding roster filled with young talent and veterans alike that could make a deep run into June if they can stay healthy throughout their playoff journey.
Out West, there are several teams capable of winning it all. The Los Angeles Lakers have two of arguably top five players in LeBron James and Anthony Davis but question marks remain over their supporting cast; while Kawhi Leonard-led LA Clippers boast deep bench strength that could give them an edge in crunch time situations.
However, don’t count out Denver Nuggets or Houston Rockets either – both sides have dynamic scorers (Nikola Jokic & James Harden) who can take over games at any moment.
All things considered, this year’s playoffs promise to be one of most exciting ones we’ve had in recent years!
