3. Balloon Flower – New York City
Balloon Flower is a series of sculptures created by artist Jeff Koons which can be found outside the Metropolitan Museum of Art (MET) in New York City’s Central Park area. This installation consists of five large-scale sculptures made from polished stainless steel which are shaped like balloons twisted into flower shapes .
4 . Reflecting Pool – Washington D.C.
The Reflecting Pool located between the Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument on National Mall became famous after Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have A Dream” speech delivered during August 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.. The pool spans over 2,000 feet long making it one of largest reflecting pools worldwide while its still waters create mirror image reflections when lit up at night adding extra special beauty.
5. The Bean – Dallas, Texas
The Bean is a public installation in Dallas, Texas which was created by artist Brad Oldham and unveiled on September 26th, 2021. This sculpture is made of bronze and stainless steel with the bean’s size being roughly 6 feet tall by 8 feet wide. It has quickly become one of the most popular attractions in downtown Dallas.
6. Maman – New York City
Maman is a large spider sculpture located at Rockefeller Center in New York City. Designed by French-American artist Louise Bourgeois, this installation consists of a bronze spider that stands over 30 feet tall with its legs extended outwards to create an arch shape over viewers’ heads.
7. Prismatic – Seattle, Washington
Prismatic is a colorful public installation located at Seattle’s Amazon headquarters campus known as “The Spheres”. Created by design firm HOK, this installation features hundreds of acrylic rods hanging from the ceiling that are backlit with LED lights giving off beautiful rainbow colors throughout the day.
8. Red Rabbit – Denver, Colorado
Red Rabbit is a playful sculpture found outside Denver Art Museum created by local artist Lawrence Argent who passed away recently.The rabbit stands over ten feet tall and weighs more than two tons! Made of bright red fiberglass resin it adds pops fun and color to Civic Center Park area .
9. Wanderlust – Miami Beach , Florida
Wanderlust was installed at Collins Park during Art Basel Miami Beach week in December 2017 . Created by Spanish sculptor Jaume Plensa ,this work comprises nine monumental white letters standing up to sixteen-feet high spelling out the word WANDERLUST.. Visitors can walk around or even sit inside each letter for photo opportunities .
10 . Cloud House – Los Angeles California
Cloud House designed by Matthew Mazzotta creates rainbows when light refracts through water droplets collected from gutters into prism chandelier. Visitors can sit below the gutter system and enjoy a view of rainbows in Los Angeles’ Echo Park neighborhood .
