Baseball Must Tackle Workplace Harassment and Create a Culture of Respect

Workplace Harassment in Baseball: It’s Time for Change

The #MeToo movement has brought to light the prevalence of workplace harassment across various industries, including sports. Baseball, a sport that prides itself on tradition and respect, is not immune to this issue.

In recent years, several high-profile cases have surfaced involving coaches or other personnel who have sexually harassed or abused players. This behavior is unacceptable and must be addressed with urgency by team owners, league officials, and players themselves.
