Young Celebrities Prove You Can Balance Education and Success in the Entertainment Industry

There are a lot of young celebrities who have found success in the entertainment industry, but what many people don’t know is that some of them are also getting an education. Here’s a roundup of some young stars who are currently pursuing or have completed secondary education.

First up is Emma Watson. The British actress, known for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series, graduated from Brown University with a bachelor’s degree in English literature in 2014. She has been open about the challenges she faced balancing her acting career and education, but she says it was worth it to achieve her academic goals.

Next on our list is Yara Shahidi. The Black-ish star not only acts and models, but she is also an advocate for social justice issues and uses her platform to promote education. Shahidi has been accepted into several Ivy League universities and decided to attend Harvard University where she is currently studying sociology and African American studies.

Another celebrity that deserves recognition for their dedication to education is Karlie Kloss. The supermodel attended the all-girls’ school Immaculate Heart High School in Los Angeles before being discovered by a modeling agency at age 13. However, Kloss never let her modeling career interfere with her education; she continued taking classes online while traveling around the world for fashion shows and photo shoots. In May 2020, Kloss announced on Instagram that she had completed Harvard Business School’s Owner/President Management program.

Lastly, we have Zendaya Coleman who began homeschooling after being bullied at public school due to her successful acting career as a child actress on Disney Channel’s Shake It Up! Despite not attending traditional high school classes like most teenagers do, Zendaya earned herself a diploma through home-schooling programs which was accepted by California State Board of Education.

These four young stars prove that having a successful career doesn’t mean sacrificing one’s academic aspirations altogether – they serve as great examples of how education is an important aspect of life that should not be overlooked.
