The Rain Room invites visitors into a darkened space filled with artificial rain that falls continuously from above. However, visitors remain dry as they navigate through the room due to motion sensors that detect their presence and temporarily stop the rainfall directly above them.

Takashi Murakami’s Superflat Forest
Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami created Superflat Forest for The Japan Society Gallery in New York City during his 2019 exhibition “Bonsai.” The installation features various characters from Japanese pop culture depicted as animatronic figures placed within a forest-like setting made up of flat panels representing digital landscapes found in video games.
