The Exclusive 600 Goal Club: A Prestigious Honor for NHL Players

The 600 Goal Club is an exclusive group of NHL players who have scored 600 or more goals throughout their careers. Currently, there are only seven members: Wayne Gretzky, Gordie Howe, Jaromir Jagr, Brett Hull, Marcel Dionne, Phil Esposito and Mike Gartner.

The first player to reach this milestone was Howe in 1987. Since then, only six other players have managed to score 600 or more goals. Among these greats is Gretzky who holds the record for most career goals with a staggering 894.

Jagr is the most recent addition to the club having reached the milestone in December of 2016. His longevity in the league has allowed him to accumulate an impressive amount of points over his lengthy career.

Joining this elite club requires not just skill but also consistency and durability. Only a handful of players have been able to maintain their high level of play for such a sustained period of time.

As hockey fans eagerly await future additions to this prestigious group, it’s important to appreciate and celebrate these incredible athletes who have achieved one of the highest honors in professional hockey – membership into the exclusive 600 Goal Club.
